Golden Girls, but Make it Vintage

It couldn’t be anything but the GOLDEN GIRLS! I’m from Golden, Colorado. I think every GHS class of ladies calls themselves the Golden Girls, with pride and reverence!

I had to get Miami in there with the pennant and wooden shell bowl. The brass bow is an ode to our girly girl, Blanche. We all love sweet, naive Rose in Bloom. Dorothy, a teacher, is honored with a brass apple. We can’t forget Sophia with the vintage frame - “Picture it, Sicily 1922!” (As she hobbles off to Bingo) And cheesecake was practically a fifth roommate, shared around the kitchen table on countless episodes.

Oh, and another photo clue is a reference to Sophia asking Rose if she and Artie had played “find the cannoli.” 🤣
